MRI of the Elbow | $925 |
---|
MRI is very useful for examining the elbow. An MRI of the elbow can visualize all the muscles surrounding the joint, the cartilage lining the humerus, radius and ulna, the ligament insertions of all the muscles, the compartments of the joint, the nerves and blood vessels that pass in close proximity to the joint and the overall health of the bones. A typical MRI of the elbow takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
In some cases your physician may request that the MRI takes place after we inject a small amount of dye into the joint. This is known as an MRI Arthrogram and would be at an additional cost - please see our rates for more information or click HERE.
